Many children know what they want to be by the time they are just a few years old. In many cases, it is something noble, such as a firefighter or a nurse.
Prince George is also somebody who knows what he wants to be when he grows up, but he already has something noble in his future. As a member of the royal family, he will someday potentially be king but he has another career in mind.
It seems as if Prince George had a talk with his mother when they were on a trip. George, who was 11 years old at the time told Kate Middleton that he would like to be a pizza chef.
This happened after a visit to the Desmond MacCarthy’s Wiveton Hall Café. George was standing in front of a large woodfired pizza oven and marveling at the invention. He said: “That’s what I want to do when I grow up!”
MacCarthy spoke to the news, saying: “They came here with their friends, because Sandringham isn’t that far away.”
They went on to call George a ‘sweet boy.’
It really shouldn’t be much of a surprise that Prince George wants to be a pizza chef when he grows up. The entire family is known for their love of pizzas. In fact, George was seen eating some pizza at a cricket match in 2023 when he was with his father.
Kate and William also ordered 12 pizzas when visiting Wales as a thank you for the volunteers at Dowlais Rugby Club. Even back in 2018, Prince George and Princess Charlotte loved making pizza dough.
Kate said that when they were visiting St. Luke’s Community Centre for the Commonwealth Big Lunch, the children loved pizza and it was their favorite meal. She said: “I’ve done that with George and Charlotte — making pizza dough. They love it because they can get their hands messy.”
She also spoke to military personnel that year and said that William was a ‘nightmare’ when he ate pizza on the sofa. She later confirmed that she loved bacon as her favorite pizza topping.
The children love cooking and they love pizza, so it shouldn’t surprise us that Prince George wants to be a pizza chef. We wish him all the best in his new career.
